The movie also includes an interview with Ricky Garcia, a former Disney TV star and member of the band Forever In Your Mind. In December 2019 Garcia filed a lawsuit against his former manager Joby Harte, the company he worked for, three other entertainment companies and four more people.

In the documentary, which is due to have a second livestream on Tuesday, the former X Factor contestant and star of Netflix’s Alexa and Katie repeated some of the allegations made in his lawsuit.

In a statement to USA Today, Garcia’s attorneys Ben Meiselas and Michael Popok detailed these allegations. That statement read: “Our client, Ricky Garcia, was a preteen and teen music and acting star in the making.

“Tragically, and as alleged by him under oath in the complaint, high-powered male entertainment industry executives, led by his former manager Joby Harte, who were responsible for nurturing his career, instead sexually preyed on his economic and emotional vulnerability, and sexually assaulted and raped him.

“In twisted fashion they inflicted injuries and shame on our client that have derailed his promising career and that will take him a lifetime to recover from.”

Per his attorneys, Garcia was the victim of rape and sexual assault “dozens of times” and was “groomed” into becoming a “personal sexual plaything that could be passed around” by Harte and others.

So far, Harte has not responded to any requests for comment and has not commented publicly on the allegations.

On Feldman’s Instagram in early March, Feldman released an image of Garcia from (My) Truth, captioning it, “A REAL HERO SPEAKS HIS TRUTH, IN THIS CASE THE HERO IS A YOUNG MAN NAMED @realrickygarcia 1 of the bravest young men I have ever met, who also has a strange connection to #222 [the number Feldman associates with Haim], & WHO ALSO SPEAKS IN #MYTRUTHDOC: Pictured here from a still frame of his RIGOROUSLY HONEST, interview, as he breaks down the grooming process, while exposing his own #TRUTH”
