MORE: Must-see images from McGregor-Diaz

The Nevada State Athletic Commission is requiring McGregor and his fractured left foot/ankle to be cleared by an orthopedist if he wants to fight before Feb. 17, 2017. Regardless of the orthopedist, McGregor can’t have any combat contact until Oct. 5 or return to competition until Oct. 20.

McGregor doesn’t have any bouts scheduled, but if not medically cleared he could miss the heavily anticipated UFC 205 event in New York City on Nov. 12 while he serves his medical suspension.
