Louisville (1985-86): The Cardinals won 17 straight games after a loss at North Carolina State on Feb. 8. Louisville beat Memphis State in the Metro Conference tournament championship and beat Duke in the NCAA championship game.
UNLV (1989-90): The Rebels lost at UC-Santa Barbara on Feb. 26 but ripped off 11 straight wins afterward. That included a win against Long Beach State in the Big West Tournament championship and a 30-point blowout against Duke in the NCAA final.
Duke (1991-92): The Blue Devils won 13 straight games after a loss at Wake Forest on Feb. 23. Duke beat North Carolina in the ACC Tournament championship and Michigan in the NCAA championship.
Kentucky (1997-98): After a Valentine’s Day loss at home against Ole Miss, the Wildcats won their final 13 games. That included a win against South Carolina in the SEC Tournament championship and Utah in the NCAA championship.
Connecticut (1998-99): The Huskies pulled it together after a loss against Miami on Feb. 20. UConn won its next 11 games, including the Big East Tournament title game against St. John’s and the NCAA title game against Duke.
Michigan State (1999-00): The Spartans lost Feb. 26 at Indiana, but reeled off 11 in a row afterward, including a win against Illinois in the Big Ten Tournament final and Florida in the NCAA championship game.
Duke (2000-01): Maryland won at Duke on Feb. 27, but the Blue Devils reeled off 10 straight wins afterward, including a win against North Carolina in the ACC final and Arizona in the NCAA championship game.
Connecticut (2003-04): The Huskies closed the regular season with a loss at Syracuse, but bounced back to beat Pittsburgh in the Big East Tournament championship. The Huskies beat Georgia Tech in the NCAA final.
Florida (2005-06): A loss at Alabama on Feb. 26 capped a three-game losing streak. Florida recovered by winning its next 11 games, including the SEC championship against South Carolina and the NCAA championship game against UCLA.
Florida (2006-07): The Gators lost at Tennessee on Feb. 27, but Florida regrouped for a second straight SEC title/NCAA title sweep. The Gators beat Arkansas in the SEC final and Ohio State in the NCAA championship game.
Kansas (2007-08): The Jayhawks lost Feb. 23 at Oklahoma State then bounced back to win 13 in a row. Kansas beat Texas in the Big 12 championship game and Memphis in the NCAA championship game.
Duke (2009-10): Same story here. Maryland beat Duke on March 3, and the Blue Devils bounced back to win 10 in a row. Duke beat Georgia Tech in the ACC final and Butler in the NCAA championship game.
Connecticut (2010-11): For the third time, the Huskies used the momentum from winning the Big East championship, this time against Louisville. UConn won its last 11 games and beat Butler in the NCAA championship game.
Louisville (2012-13): The Cardinals lost a five-overtime thriller against Notre Dame on Feb. 9. That would be Louisville’s last loss, however. The Cards won their next 16 games, including the Big East final against Syracuse and the NCAA championship against Michigan.
