Delayed e-mail: Have your e-mail sent hours after you’ve left the office. After writing your e-mail in Microsoft Outlook, go to the File tab and click on Properties; click the Send Options button; select the Microsoft Exchange Server tab; in the Send This Item option you can set a new time of delivery.

Call-forwarding switcheroo: You can actually have your business phone forwarded to your mobile or home phone. Just set it up with your phone company, and remember to answer the way you would at the office.

Cover and concealment: BlackBerry, the handheld, wireless e-mail device, lets you read and send your e-mails from anywhere within your service area. Why not e-mail from the beach?

Remote log-in: Download the software from GoToMyPC.com, which allows you to open your office documents anywhere. Just don’t spill the margarita.
