Without a reliable running game – and against a stout run defense – the Colts are likely to put their fate in the hands of their best player. That was the case last week when he completed 31-of-44 passes to knock out the Bengals, and that plan almost allowed them to complete a comeback against these Broncos when he went 35-of-53 in Week 1.

The Colts will eventually want to find an offensive balance, but for now, they’ll need to lean on the shoulders of Luck.

Sporting News’ Fantasy Source staff has Luck ranked No. 2 in its quarterback rankings this week and likes his chances of a big game even against Denver’s tough defense.
