Colts linebacker Robert Mathis has suffered a “slight setback” to his recovery from his torn Achilles, according to ESPN’s Mike Wells.

According to the report, Mathis didn’t re-tear his Achilles as it was previously rumored.

Even though the setback isn’t as severe as once rumored, the recovery might still take a long time.

The soon-to-be 34 year old missed the entire 2014 season after recording a career-high 19.5 sacks in 2013.
