The Indianapolis head coach wore a T-shirt that said “Be Bold, Be Brave, Be Berry” during a practice at training camp as a tribute to Chiefs safety Eric Berry.

Pagano and Berry share a bond that goes beyond football; both have battled cancer in recent years. Pagano missed 12 games in 2012 while fighting leukemia. He reached out to Berry, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma last year.
Berry is now cancer-free and able to practice with the Chiefs.
