Justin Fields completed 16 of his 22 passes for 188 yards and two touchdowns and the Buckeyes defense kept the Nittany Lions scoreless in three quarters. Ohio State travels to Michigan for its final regular season game, looking to remain undefeated and to consolidate its chances to secure a CFP spot, which looks almost guaranteed at this stage.
Behind them, Clemson remained at No.3 after a bye, while Georgia stayed at No.4 following a 19-13 win against Texas A&M. The Bulldogs defense shone again, holding the Aggies to negative rushing yards on 20 attempts, but familiar problems resurfaced on the offensive side of the ball, where Jake Fromm completed less than 50 percent of his passes for the third consecutive game.
Georgia takes on Georgia Tech on the road in its final regular season game and then faces LSU in the SEC Championship Game, which will in all likelihood determine its chances of reaching the CFP.
The Bulldogs’ closest challenger is Alabama, who kicked off the post-Tua Tagovailoa era in the best possible way, thrashing Western Carolina 66-3 as backup quarterback Mac Jones finished with 275 passing yards and three touchdowns.

With no conference title game on the horizon, Alabama’s final shot at making the playoff is the Iron Bowl against No.16 Auburn on November 30.
Behind Alabama, Utah moved up a spot to No.6 after a 35-7 win over Arizona, which improved the Utes to 10-1 and installed them as the Pac-12’s only contender for the CFP after Oregon suffered a shock 31-28 loss against Arizona State.
Utah could clinch the Pac-12 South title with a win against Colorado on Saturday evening, but its hopes of securing a CFP spot will in all likelihood rest on their Pac-12 title game against Oregon.
Oklahoma climbed up to seventh with a 28-24 win over Texas Christian University and will end its regular season with a road game against No.21 Oklahoma State, which extended its winning run to four games with a 20-13 win over West Virginia.
With a Big 12 title game against Baylor looming large on the horizon, the Sooners need to keep winning to keep their CFP hopes alive.

When does Week 14 start?
Week 14 begins on Tuesday, November 26, when Akron hosts Ohio and Northern Illinois welcomes Western Michigan.
Five ranked teams are in action on Friday, with No.17 Iowa traveling to Nebraska, while No.18 Memphis hosts No.19 Cincinnati.
No.20 Boise State takes on Colorado State on the road and No. 24 Appalachian State travels to Alabama to face Troy.
The are four all-ranked matchups scheduled for Saturday, with the Iron Bowl between No.15 Auburn and No.5 Alabama the pick of the crop.
No. 2 Ohio State faces Big Ten rivals and No.12 ranked Michigan on the road, while No.9 Oklahoma takes on No.21 Oklahoma State on the road and No.10 Minnesota hosts No.12 Wisconsin.
TV coverage
As usual, coverage of the college football season is split across a variety of networks. ABC broadcasts games in the ACC, American, Big 12, Big Ten and Pac-12 conferences.
Games in the latter three conferences will also be broadcast on FOX and ESPN, with ESPN carrying matchups from the ACC, American, Mountain West, SEC and Sun Belt conferences.
CBS broadcasts SEC conference games, while NBC retains exclusive broadcasting rights to Notre Dame’s home games.
