Ohio State’s win over Notre Dame netted it two No. 1 votes, but the Buckeyes’ ugly win over the Irish didn’t seem to turn a ton of heads. Notre Dame, for its part, joins Utah as the only two 0-1 teams in the Top 25 (Utah, of course, lost to Florida in Week 1).

Florida’s win over Utah catapulted it into the rankings at No. 12, while Utah dropped to No. 13. Oklahoma State moved up a spot to No. 11 after a barnburner against Central Michigan.

All things told, there are still too many questions to be answered to divine too much from these rankings. Alabama vs. Texas should give us a better litmus test of where they stand, and we will see three Top 25 matchups in Week 3: No. 9 Baylor vs. No. 21 BYU; No. 12 Florida vs. No. 20 Kentucky; and No. 17 Pitt vs. No. 24 Tennessee.
