Dates, times and television slots were announced for the 44 bowl games on Thursday. The first games will be played on Dec. 17, and the postseason will run through the College Football Playoff championship game on Jan. 10 in Indianapolis. It is a departure from last year’s schedule, which was shortened because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
