No. 13 Notre Dame (14-1 SU, 4-3 ATS) at No. 18 North Carolina (11-3 SU, 10-4 ATS)

Line: UNC -8, Total: 147

Line movement: North Carolina opened -9.5 at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook on Sunday, but was bet against to as low as -7.5 on Monday, before the line bounced back up to -8.  Totals have been adjusted from 148 to 147 at multiple Las Vegas bet shops.  Check our live odds board for updated college basketball point spreads and totals.

Overview: The Irish lost to Providence by one on Nov. 23, but have reeled off 10 straight wins in a row since then. They’re 3-2 ATS in lined games over that span. Notre Dame’s trip to Chapel Hill will be its first true road test of the season.

North Carolina is 3-1 SU and ATS vs. ranked opponents this season with wins over UCLA, Florida and Ohio State and a loss to Kentucky by 14 on Dec. 13. The Tar Heels have won and covered five straight since falling to Kentucky.

The total is 2-2-1 O/U in the Tar Heels’ last five, while the Irish are 5-0 to the OVER.

The Linemakers’ lean: The spread has been too light on UNC all season, and tonight vs. Notre Dame looks like another instance. The Heels are on a five-game win streak since losing big at Kentucky and have covered all five contests.  On the other side, we have the Irish on a 10-game win streak, but their level of competition has certainly padded their stats. We’re siding with the Tar Heels -8.

No. 16 Oklahoma (10-3 SU, 7-4 ATS) at No. 10 Texas (12-2 SU, 8-4 ATS)

Line: Texas -6.5, Total: 137.5

Line movement: Texas has been bet from -5.5 to -6.5 at the Westgate, while the total has spiked from  134.5 to 137.  Texas -6 was still available at some shops as of this posting. Again, our odds board has current numbers.

Overview: The Sooners have won three in a row (2-1 ATS) since falling to Washington on Dec. 20. They’re 1-2 SU and ATS on the road so far this season. Oklahoma is 2-2 SU and ATS against ranked opponents.

The Longhorns’ two losses came at the hands of Kentucky (63-51) and Stanford (74-71). They’re 1-1 (2-0 ATS) against ranked opponents, but 1-3 ATS over their last four.

The UNDER is 3-1 in the Sooners’ last four, while the OVER is 2-1 in the Longhorns’ last three.

The Linemakers’ lean:  Oklahoma is playing great basketball, but Texas is the best team they’ve faced since losing to Wisconsin in November. Since that loss, the Sooners are 6-1 (5-2 ATS), and they’re coming off a big home win over Baylor on Saturday. However, this is just their third true road game of the season – they are 1-1 in their first two, including a bad loss at Creighton in their second game. The Longhorns have covered only once in their last four, but should be ready for this one. This number may be a bit inflated, but we’ll lay -6 with Texas.
