Vince McMahon acknowledged that during his interview with Steve Austin on the WWE Network Monday night and apologized for what he said was a “miscommunication” with the talent relations department and hopes that the two can work together in the future.

Punk was back on the podcast again this week and didn’t buy what McMahon was selling. From Punk:
While Punk didn’t officially close the door on his wrestling career, he did say he was closing that chapter in his life. He even admitted that you can never say never in the wrestling business but he’s much happier that he was a year ago while working for the WWE and has several projects he is working on.
