Just a few days ago, he dropped another bombshell, announcing that he is moving on from wrestling and has signed a multi-fight deal to compete in the UFC despite having no professional experience.

But the question remains if he would ever want to return to the squared circle after he crosses MMA off his bucket list. Punk recently spoke with Rolling Stone about his new endeavor and when asked if he still wants to someday headline WrestleMania, he had a simple response:
No, absolutely not.
It’s quite the turn of events for Punk who had used the WrestleMania main event spot to drive him in the WWE. He was even obsessed by it over the past few years and was obviously upset — making that angry — when he never got to on last.
With Punk seemingly closing the door on what fueled him for so long, you have to wonder if he has completely closed the door on a return to wrestling. He says he wants to look ahead and not in the past.
The best thing that Punk has going is his popularity or even notoriety. That gives him the opportunity to do plenty of things like fight in the UFC, writing for comic books or talking about The Walking Dead on TV. Right now, it sure looks like he has put wrestling in his rear view mirror.
