Cincinnati S Alfredo Simon Accused Of Sexual Assault At D.C. Hotel

According to a suit filed Thursday in D.C. Superior Court, the woman, identified as Jane Doe, is seeking $15 million from Simon over the alleged attack in April 2013.

The suit alleges that the woman was intoxicated and could not give consent.

A copy of the suit was obtained by WMAR-TV in Baltimore. The 32-year-old Simon played for the Orioles for parts of four seasons from 2008 to 2011.

Adam Katz, Simon's agent, said he had no comment when reached by phone.

Simon was jailed in the Dominican Republic in 2011 on a charge of involuntary manslaughter. He was acquitted.
