Bolek defeated fellow Florida pro Sean Winter (GPI No. 149) heads-up for the title. Like Bolek, Winter has enjoyed unprecedended success on the live tournament poker circuit this season. Coming off an 18th place finish in the World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific Main Event in Melbourne, Winter scored big here in Florida, earning the biggest payday of his career with his runner-up finish in this Main Event.
Star poker pro Faraz Jaka (GPI No. 77) finished was the first player eliminated at the final table. Jaka’s exit certainly allowed the five remaining players at the final table to breath a little easier.
