Chris Paul will miss the opening game of the Clippers’ series against the Rockets, according to head coach Doc Rivers.

Paul injured his left hamstring during the Clippers’ series-clinching 111-109 win against the Spurs on Saturday night. The injury occurred in the first quarter, but he returned to score 27 points, including the game-winner. 

In the Clippers’ first-round series against San Antonio, Paul averaged 22.7 points and 7.9 assists in just over 39 minutes per game.
