Bosh was admitted to a hospital earlier this week to undergo tests after feeling “under the weather” at Heat practice.
Despite the significant setback, Bosh’s long-term outlook is positive. Per the team’s release:
“[Bosh] is currently resting comfortably. Chris is OK and his prognosis is good.”
The loss of Bosh is undoubtedly a major blow to the Heat’s season. The All-Star forward is averaging 21.1 points and seven rebounds per game this season.
With a 23-30 record, the Heat currently occupy the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference.
