Stagecoach, a country music event held at the same venue as Coachella in Indio, California, confirmed on Twitter that it’s dropping masks and negative test requirements this year. The festival is scheduled to take place from April 29 to May 1. “Festival Admission Update: As we prepare to spend an incredible weekend in the desert together we are announcing that there will be no vaccination, testing or masking requirements at Stagecoach 2022, in accordance with local guidelines,” the official Stagecoach Twitter account announced on Tuesday....

The cadets, all players for West Point’s Army football team, overdosed while vacationing at a short-term rental house in Wilton Manors on Thursday, according to police and Fort Lauderdale Fire Department Battalion Chief Steve Gollan. After being alerted by an emergency call about 5 p.m., police and paramedics quickly determined that an overdose had occurred and that some of the cadets had gone into cardiac arrest, authorities said. Paramedics used the drug naloxone, or Narcan, to treat the cadets....

According to a press release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the incident occurred this past Tuesday, March 15, when officers stationed in Philadelphia conducted a routine examination of a passenger plane arriving from the island nation. “U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers in Philadelphia routinely examine the cargo holds of aircraft that arrive from overseas locations, and most times officers find nothing unusual,” CBP said in a press release....

Kronwall was concussed on the play, but said afterward that he put himself in a vulnerable position. The league agreed, but ruled that McLeod still had time to minimize contact, and instead went out of his way to hit Kronwall. The video makes that obvious. "Although Kronwall cuts back, McLeod actually makes an adjustment to his own path and is responsible for the violent collision that results," Brendan Shanahan, the NHL's director of player safety, said, adding that there was no sign that McLeod tried to slow down as he approached Kronwall's numbers....

Last week, the College of Charleston opened a second investigation into the alleged abuse after former player Trevonte Dixon claimed he was physically assaulted twice during the 2012-13 season.
