Louie Alonso Alberto, 52, was caught on Tuesday at a nursing home in Seal Beach, California, according to a statement from the Orange County District Attorney (OCDA). His victim, 85, reportedly suffers from dementia. Alberto previously served time in prison inflicting corporal injury on a spouse. The OCDA’s statement explained how nursing staff at the home had to force their way into the resident’s room after they heard screaming. Alberto had seemingly used a wheelchair to barricade himself in the room, where he was found on top of the victim in bed....

Bruno, formerly of Flamengo and once tipped for a move to Barcelona, was found guilty of planning the murder in 2010 of former lover Eliza Samudio, who had claimed she had a child by the player. According to testimony given by a cousin of the player, Samudio was cut up into pieces and fed to Bruno’s Rottweiler puppies in order to dispose of the body. In 2013 he was sentenced to 22 years in prison for the crime, but was released in February after almost seven years behind bars....
