One member demanded to know about the Biden administration’s use of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to artificially tamp down gas prices. Another wanted to know what the administration planned to do about the power grid. Two questions pertained to White House speculation about declaring a national climate emergency. However, the Democrat-controlled committee rejected the ROI measures....

Every year, it holds countless bad actors accountable for abuses committed against everyday Americans, ranging from identity theft and fraud to anticompetitive practices in violation of federal antitrust law. The agency has proven to be a particularly effective tool for holding Big Tech accountable for its many misdeeds. While the FTC can, and does, enforce the law through administrative proceedings, it often takes its claims against bad actors directly to court, which can provide quick and effective relief....

Anna Lindo, 34, of Bloomfield, Connecticut, was detained following an incident which occurred on Sunday, October 14. According to the Hartford Courant, Lindo attacked the man who she used to have a relationship with close to his home as he was walking to a local restaurant. The victim reportedly told police that he heard a car horn sound, then saw Lindo walking towards him with a brick in her hand....
