If Georgia fans thought a matchup with Tennessee would help them forget about last week’s beating at the hand of Alabama, they were wrong. The two reported main candidates, former Charleston player Anthony Johnson and Wofford coach Mike Young, told the school “No, thanks” on Wednesday. Johnson cited personal reasons, namely his efforts to reconcile with his ex-wife (per the Post and Courier of Charleston); Young told the Spartanburg Herald Journal that he’s committed to staying at Wofford. Griswold’s increasingly public profile has drawn an increase in threats levied against her and other members of her office, including death threats and posting of her private information online, her office has said. “I KNOW WHERE YOU SLEEP,” one online message read, according to The Colorado Sun. “I SEE YOU SLEEPING. BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID.” The funding would allow for guards to accompany Griswold and some of her staff at public events, as well as hire a third-party vendor to track the threats made at Griswold and her office online....
Alie-Cox is closing in on changing that narrative, though, as the now fourth-year NFL tight end has made himself an important part of the Colts’ offense.
