Hemingway police officer Cassandra Dollard, 52, could face between two and 30 years in prison if she is found guilty, the Associated Press reported. Ma’Khia Bryant, 16, who lived in foster care on the east side of the city, was shot dead by Nicholas Reardon, an officer with the Columbus Police Department (CPD), in April 2021. Derek Smith, a paramedic with Hennepin EMS, testified on the fourth day of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin’s murder trial.
